First of all...F grammar. That being said, songwriters need to create their own system of organization that doesn't require the bending of these "grammatical" rules to get their point across in an original way y'know?
All this to say that love is a blank slate awaitin' two somewhat incompatible permanent markers(say indigo and fuchsia) to make their everlasting mark on each of their blank slates of consciousness. Oh history...(nostalgic sarcasm)
P.S. Heres looking at you permanent marker huffers who can now use the much more apt "getting high on love" ;)
